Dungeonborne is an upcoming release from Mithril Interactive, a new game development studio. The game is set in dungeons and is an RPG hack-and-slash where players explore dungeons together, filled with enemies, in search of resources, equipment, and items to become stronger. Dungeonborne Trailer
The trailer was released on January 26, 2024. In summary, it shows two cutscenes of seemingly two “friends” entering to explore dungeons. It also showcases a good variety of melee weapons, shields, crossbows, and magic staffs, depicting the actual combat in the game mostly against monsters found in the dungeon. Towards the end, it emphasizes the idea that you cannot trust other players.
What is Dungeonborne like?
According to the game’s Steam page, it is a mix of PVPVE, RPG, hack-and-slash, and dungeon exploration. Players wait in lobbies of up to 20 players, and when the match begins, they are sent to a dungeon filled with enemy monsters, item chests, and other players trying to kill them.
Upon entering the dungeons, players appear in separate corners and throughout the match, they need to move towards the center of the dungeon, where they can find portals to escape and bring back items collected during the exploration.
How to play Dungeonborne?
The game is currently in production, but on February 2, 2024, an open beta will be released for those who want to test and see how the game works. You can access the Dungeonborne game demo on Steam to try it out. On February 1, only 3,000 demo copies were released for those who wanted to play in advance, so just wait for a key to experience it as well.

When will Dungeonborne be released?
